Canadian rock group Loverboy is going live at the Pearl Concert Theater on Saturday, November 4th this year! Closing out the year, the band will be dropping by cities like Mooresville, La Porte, Cherokee, Las Vegas, and Tuscaloosa to sing their best hits since the 80s.

Loverboy is known across North America as one of the biggest arena rock acts of the mid-1980s considering their impressive four consecutive best-selling albums, nine top-rated singles, and earnings amounting to more than ten million sales.
For this upcoming performance, official members of the band that have confirmed their attendance include Paul Dean on guitar, Matt Frenette on drums, Doug Johnson on keyboards, Mike Reno on lead vocals, and Ken "Spider" Sinnaeve on bass guitar.

Celebrating their past and present success, the legends of Loverboy returned last year with a fresh new single and video for the song “Release,” with co-founding member Dean sharing, “like millions of others around the globe, we’re ready to rock again.”

In another interview with VW Music, lead vocalist Reno shared the story behind how their song came about and how the COVID-19 pandemic played a pivotal role in the development of a majority of the lyrics. Guitarist Dean said over the break, “We need a release,” and Reno acknowledged it as a great song title, urging them to work on it immediately and further mentioning how the fans were the main inspiration in crafting the piece.
